    Normativní zakotvení institutu kvalifikační dohody, jehož obecným obsahem je ujednání zaměstnavatele a zaměstnance o tom, že zaměstnavatel umožní zaměstnanci zvýšení (resp. prohloubení) kvalifikace a zaměstnanec následně u zaměstnavatele v zaměstnání setrvá po sjednanou dobu, anebo zaměstnavateli uhradí náklady spojené se zvýšením (resp. prohloubením) jeho kvalifikace, je součástí právního řádu České republiky již od jejího samostatného vzniku.
