How should the DPO role really work in practice today?
How should it be set up so that it adds value — and is not just a formal obligation?
Join us to clarify how the position of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) can work effectively in different types of organisations.
The seminar is intended for everyone dealing with personal data and related regulation, in particular those responsible for these agendas. It is also suitable for those considering how to staff the role, define the position, clarify the scope of work, and set responsibilities and authority — especially in the context of overlapping areas such as cybersecurity or the regulation of AI and non-personal data.
During the seminar, we will focus on:
- the DPO’s role and position within the organisation,
- responsibilities and authority, and how to set them appropriately,
- overlaps with other regulatory areas.
The session will be complemented by practical recommendations and real-life examples.
