How can we document what’s happening at the event—and can we post the photos directly to social media?
We have contacts—what are our options for further engagement?
When else can we send out a newsletter or other communications without getting into trouble?
And what about AI and chatbots—where do they help us, and where do we need to be cautious?

These aren’t hypothetical questions. These are situations you deal with every day—often quickly, under pressure, and without clear instructions.

In the seminar What (Not) to Do in Marketing: Legal Considerations for Everyday Situations, we’ll guide you through how to approach these situations and how to structure your decision-making so that legal considerations don’t hold you back, but instead give you confidence.

We won’t focus on theory, but on practical application. We’ll look at specific scenarios—from events to online campaigns to the use of AI—and use them to explain what works, what the risks are, and what alternatives you have.

What you’ll take away from the seminar:

  • specific instructions on how to organize an event (registration, communication, photography, outcomes) so that it is legally sound and, at the same time, useful for marketing purposes,
  • an overview of practical ways to take and use photos and videos,
  • clear instructions on how to work with a contact database—how to maintain and expand it legally, which contacts you can reach out to, and through which channels,
  • specific templates for newsletters and other marketing communications (who to write to, when, and how, so you don’t have to deal with problems later).

The session will also include a practical look at the use of AI in marketing—where it makes sense, what its limitations are, and what to watch out for.

The goal of this seminar is to provide you with a clear “roadmap” for your day-to-day decision-making—so you know what you can afford, where caution is needed, and how to structure your marketing strategy for long-term success.

There will also be plenty of time for your specific questions and for sharing experiences.
