Decree of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs No. 573/2025 Coll. sets new rates of basic compensation for the use of road motor vehicles, domestic meal allowances and average fuel prices for travel reimbursement purposes for 2026.

  • Základní náhrada za použití vozidla (§ 157 odst. 4 ZP):
    • motorcycles and tricycles: CZK 1.60 per km
    • passenger road motor vehicles: CZK 5.90 per km
    • Stravné – minimální výše (zaměstnanci v soukromé sféře, § 163 ZP):
    • 5–12 hours: min. CZK 155,
    • over 12 up to 18 hours: min. CZK 236,
    • over 18 hours: min. CZK 370.
    • Meal allowance – ranges (public sector employees, Section 176 of the Labour Code):
    • 5–12 hours: CZK 155–185,
    • over 12 up to 18 hours: CZK 236–284,
    • over 18 hours: CZK 370–442
    • Average fuel prices (Section 158(3) of the Labour Code):
    • petrol 95 octane: CZK 34.70 per litre,
    • petrol 98 octane: CZK 39.00 per litre,
    • diesel fuel: CZK 34.10 per litre,
    • electricity: CZK 7.20 per kWh.

The basic rates of foreign meal allowances for 2026 are determined by Ministry of Finance Decree No. 489/2026 Coll.
