JUDr. Michaela Koblasová, Ph.D.

Michaela Koblasová is a lawyer at Weinhold Legal who focuses primarily on international arbitration, litigation and commercial law.

Michaela joined the law firm Weinhold Legal in 2012. Previously, she worked at the law firms Baker& McKenzie and Mareš Partners and at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. She has significant experience in particular in international arbitration, litigation and commercial law.

Michaela graduated from the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague (Mgr. degree in 2005) and continued with post graduate doctoral studies there. She also graduated from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (maîtrise in commercial law and D.E.A. in International Private Law and International Commercial Law.

Michaela is also a contributor to the “Baker & McKenzie International Arbitration Yearbook” published in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Since 2005, she has regularly prepared the team of the Charles University’s Law Faculty for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court.

Apart from her native Czech, Michaela is fluent in English, French and German.
