Weinhold Legal also provided legal services to LKQ Corporation – a leading US distributor of auto parts and accessories – in connection with the acquisition of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts group from the private equity group Apax Partners. The announced deal value was EUR 1.04 billion. Weinhold Legal provided legal services in two jurisdictions: the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Further, Weinhold Legal assisted LKQ group in relation to the issue of senior notes in the aggregate principal amount of EUR 500 million due 2024 and white wash procedure.
